Am vergangenen Wochenende feierte Christian Szauer das 3jährige Bestehen seines Sammelsuriums sowie das 840jährige Jubiläum der Marktgemeinde Horitschon. Zahlreiche Gäste konnten sich ein Bild von alten Gegenständen und vielen Erinnerungsfotos und Dokumenten der Marktgemeinde Horitschon machen. Als kleines Dankeschön überreichte Bürgermeister Gerhard Petschowitsch, BA MSc dem Veranstalter einen Korb mit alten Weinen.

Verstärkte Kontrollen und Prüfung von Lkw-Mautpflicht auf der B62

Horitschon, Lackendorf, Großwarasdorf und Deutschkreutz schlagen Alarm. Nach einer Petition kündigt die Polizei nun Schwerpunktkontrollen auf der B62 an. Aus Sorge vor zusätzlichem Schwerverkehr setzt sich die Gemeinde Horitschon außerdem für eine Ausweitung der geplanten Lkw-Maut ein. Das Land Burgenland prüft die Aufnahme der Strecke.
