Winter im Burgenland: Pistenspaß gesichert: So lange könnt ihr noch in Wiesen Ski fahren

Pistengaudi in Wiesen: Seit Samstag kann auf der Skiwiese in Wiesen Ski und Snowboard gefahren werden. Rund 700 Personen besuchten die Skiwiese am Wochenende.

Seltenes Pistenvergnügen in Wiesen

Die Auswahl an Skipisten ist im Burgenland recht überschaubar. Dank der anhaltend frostigen Temperaturen konnte am Wochenende aber eine Traditionspiste wieder öffnen. In Wiesen (Bezirk Mattersburg) pilgerten am Sonntag viele Fans zur rund 300 Meter langen Abfahrt.

FF Mattersburg half bei Autobergung und Brandbekämpfung

Am 6. Jänner 2026, dem Feiertag anlässlich der Heiligen Drei Könige, musste die Feuerwehr Mattersburg zweimal ausrücken - der zweite Einsatz galt einem Brand in Wiesen.

Neusiedl am See/Wiesen: Winterwetter im Burgenland: Weinlese und Eislaufen am See

Die Minusgrade der vergangenen Tage und vor allem Nächte haben dafür gesorgt, dass am Neusiedler See in manchen Seebädern wieder das Eislaufen möglich ist. In Wiesen (Bezirk Mattersburg) beschneit der Schiclub bereits den Hang zum Skifahren und die Winzer konnten dieses Jahr in den frostigen Nächten wieder den Eiswein lesen.

Wiesen: Dachstuhlbrand im Ortszentrum

Am Dienstagvormittag ist es in der Gemeinde Wiesen (Bezirk Mattersburg) zu einem Dachstuhlbrand gekommen. Rund 100 Feuerwehrmitglieder rückten zum Einsatz aus.
