Herzlich Willkommen auf unserer CITIES-Seite! Der Bau des Schwimmbades geht auf die Payerbacher Badegesellschaft, eine Art Fremdenverkehrsverein, zurück, die in der damaligen Brunnau ein 3400 m² großes Grundstück erwarben und 1883 hier das erste Schwimmbad des Ortes errichteten. 1896 baute man ein Warmbad dazu, 1910 vergrößerte man das Schwimmbad um ein zweites Becken. 1978 erhielt das Bad ein Alu-Becken, eine Vorwärmanlage und eine neue Liegeterrasse. Das Freibad, zwischen dem Park und dem Pavillon gelegen, bietet an heißen Sommertagen Erholung und Entspannung inmitten der traumhaften Bergkulisse.
