    Description

    Laterns ist das größte Seitental des Rheintales und erstreckt sich über ca. 15 km. Das Tal gliedert sich auf in drei Parzellen:
    Laterns Thal (900m), Bonacker (950m) und Innerlaterns mit Bad Laterns (1000 - 1200m).
    Die jetzige Alpe Wies, auf der Schattseite des Tales gelegen, war früher eine eigenständige Siedlung. Es gab dort sogar eine Schule und ein Gasthaus. Das Gebiet wurde im Jahr 1925, als die letzten Bewohner ausgewandert sind, von der Gemeinde Laterns erworben und wird heute als Alpe genutzt.
